Privacy notice
Angel is a care-operations service used by senior-living communities. The community controls resident and family records; Angel processes them to provide scheduled calls, care coordination, and authorized updates.
Information handled
We handle account and contact details, resident intake and consent choices, call scheduling and transcripts, conversation-derived wellbeing patterns, staff tasks and messages, delivery information, and security/audit events. Raw transcripts and private summaries are treated as sensitive resident information.
How it is used
Information is used to place requested calls, create resident-authorized family updates, surface care tasks and safety escalations, operate and secure the service, investigate incidents, and meet deletion or audit obligations. Angel surfaces patterns for human review; it does not diagnose a medical or mental-health condition.
Privacy boundaries
Resident disclosures are private by default. Staff and family normally receive only consented trend information and deliberately non-specific summaries. Raw transcripts and private summaries require a permission-gated, reason-recorded action. Explicit self-harm, abuse, neglect, or immediate-danger disclosures may be shared with authorized care staff under the safety exception.
Service providers
The deployed service may use Supabase for database and authentication, Vercel for application hosting, Bland AI for phone calls, the configured language-model provider for transcript analysis, Twilio for optional SMS, and the community's email provider. The accountable operator maintains the current subprocessors list and contracts.
Retention and choices
Retention follows the community's service agreement, consent records, and applicable law. Residents or authorized decision-makers may ask the community to review consent, correct account details, pause calls, or request deletion. Family members may change their notification preferences but cannot expand resident consent.
Questions and requests
Contact the resident's community administrator or the privacy contact identified in the community's Angel service agreement. The community will verify identity and coordinate the request with the service operator.
