Effective July 14, 2026
Terms of use
These rules govern access to the Angel service provided through a participating senior-living community.
Authorized accounts
Staff access is invitation-only and tied to a community and assigned role. Resident and family access is created through community intake. Users must provide accurate information, protect their access links and passwords, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Accounts may not be shared.
Care support, not emergency or medical care
Angel supports conversation, communication, and care-team coordination. It is not an emergency service, medical device, diagnosis, or substitute for professional judgment. In an emergency, contact on-site staff or local emergency services immediately. Staff remain responsible for evaluating and acting on information surfaced by the service.
Appropriate use
Do not use Angel to access another person's records, bypass consent or role restrictions, submit unlawful or harmful content, interfere with service operation, reverse engineer security controls, or use resident information outside authorized care and communication purposes.
Availability and communications
Phone, email, SMS, analysis, and hosting depend on third-party networks and may occasionally be delayed or unavailable. Communities must maintain human fallback procedures for resident checks and urgent response. Service communications may include access links, requested updates, and safety or operational notifications.
Suspension and termination
A community or the service operator may suspend access to protect residents, respond to a security concern, comply with law, or address misuse. Community agreements control service termination, export, retention, and deletion obligations.
Governing agreement
If these terms conflict with a signed agreement between the community and the Angel service operator, the signed agreement controls. Additional jurisdiction-specific rights may apply and cannot be waived by these terms.
